Fitness Club Celebrates Children’s Day At Charity Home

The Liberation Fitness Club has celebrated Children’s Day.

Speaking to our correspondent, the founder and Tackwando Trainer, Mr. Andrew Ekong Andrew said he has a membership strength of 60 males and females, including regular and irregular members, stressing that the purpose of the visit to the compassionate home Nkpogu-Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt was to contribute their quota to the needy, to celebrate and have fun with them and to appreciate God for guidance and protection.

Speaking further Andrew pointed out that he started the liberation fitness club in 2004 during the All African game, adding that the target audience include the young, the old males and females who are medically fit and can produce medical report to show fitness, in order to be trained in Korean  standard. “The club is not affiliated to government but it is for every person in life. The main thing is to reduce obesity, heart attack and to increase good health. We have trained some athletes like Oge, Okwwchuke and Ekang”, adding that some of them have been rewarded gold medals in national and international Tacwando training, as effort to get government attention has remained fruitless. The management of the club is based on board created by me. Registration is N5,000.00 and N2,000 monthly dues. Board members of 4 including Tamunodiepririye West, Chief Lawrence Obi, my humble wife and I”.

Other speakers at the sideline include, Dieprirye Tobin West, instructor, Chinyere Ijoema marketing officer, Gift Johnson, Jehu Johnson and David.

In their separate speeches they said LFC’ celebrated the children day at compassion home was to show people understand that Tacwando is for self defence and a way of life, saying that LFC is a family.###
