A termination or abortion is a process of ending a pregnancy so it does not result in the birth of a child. Termination is not the same as miscarriage.
Most pregnant women or girls have their unborn babies killed because they did not want the responsibility of looking after their children, or may even think that if the child lives, they will have to give up their school, career, dreams, or they think that it will be too expensive, time consuming, too embarrassing.
God has a purpose for every soul He created. Before a child is born God prescribed every single detail of his or her life.
Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou cameth forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations”.
Before a child is conceived in his mother’s womb, he is already been conceived in the mind of God.
An architect before construction of a building, painstakingly put every details of his work on paper, every component needed to make his dream into a reality. The idea is first conceived in his mind then is transferred on paper, and when everything is just perfect, he starts the process of building his creation.
In my understanding of God’s creation process, this is how I imagine it to be. He first conceived us in His mind, and with great thoughts of love, He began to chart every detail of our DNA in preparation for the time in our mother’s womb.
Remember every child created by God has a unique gift and message; he or she is bringing to the world from God.
As God is an unpredictable Father who does not seek the conscience of people before carrying out His operation, would send forth a child into the world regardless of the circumstances of the birth or who the parents of the child are; it doesn’t matter whether his parents are good, bad, criminals, whether the child is born out of wedlock or not, whether the girl was rape and in the process, she became pregnant.
What we should understand is that God knew that those two individuals possessed exactly the right genetic makeup to create the child He had in mind.
While there are illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate children. Many children are not planned by their parents but they are not unplanned by God. God’s purpose takes into account human errors and sin. You have not plan the child but God did. God never does anything accidentally, and never make mistakes. He has a reason for everything he creates. Every person was designed for a purpose and every child is a blessing from the hand of God.
By terminating that baby which was sent by God to you in the guise of “I don’t want to suffer or it is an unwanted pregnancy, you are terminating God’s vision, and a man that will salvage nations tomorrow.
Abortion is murder. It is killing the most defenseless living beings by taking away the most basic human right, the right to life.
One thing, we should bear in our mind is that if God allows a child to be conceived then God obviously has a plan for such child.
Now let’s consider one thing as mothers, if you check around your children, you will see that all of them in one way or the other are unique. Among them is a future president, senator, pastor, governor, journalist, doctor, engineer, lawyer etc. if you killed the one that was sent by God to be a doctor that will save souls tomorrow. You have killed nations that sent such child to go and save. Most women who decide to have an abortion spend the rest of their lives regretting it. You will ever live with the guilt or reject of it.
It is obvious that unwanted pregnancy brings shame, heartache, deep reject but remember in all God work for the good of those who love Him. Who have been called according to his purpose.
That means God will cause even this pregnancy to work together for your good. And He will see you through the challenging moments and difficult decisions of your life.
As your pregnancy becomes obvious, don’t be surprised if some are unable to deal with it. Many people, including some who are very dear to you will be uncomfortable and embarrassed about your condition.
Some of your friends may actually turn against you and reject you. If you are a teenager or living at home, you may have to face negative feelings from your parents.
If you are married and this pregnancy was not planned, you may even face rejection from your own husband. It is very important that you do not let the negative rejection of other influence you decision or put you on guilt trip. This is your life, your baby and your future not others.
To some friends and relatives, your pregnancy represent embarrassment, inconvenience or hardship and they may possibly pressurize you to have an abortion; they will tell you that abortion is the only way out to get back to being the same person you were before you become pregnant, don’t mind any of those advices. Don’t terminate God plan for your life, instead allow the baby to live, if you cannot afford the expenses, adopt it to those that can take good care of it. That child might be the one and only savior of this country. Your own case may not be different from that of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, she bear the shame and brought forth the saviour of the world.
There are wonderful stories of children that have grown to responsible adult in good position of power that was taken from orphanage home, assuming they were killed by their mothers rather than sending them to motherless home, we wouldn’t be having ministers today.
Don’t terminate that baby; you are only a vehicle through God want to use to deliver His goods to His people.
Be wise, it might be the only opportunity present to you in the guise of shame. ###
