Worried by the increasing wave of insecurity in the Abua/Odual Local Government Area, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the LGA, Chief Hon. Oye Igenewari has banned operations of speed boats plying the coastal communities in the areas. The council boss warned the boats drivers not to operate beyond 6.00pm due to insecurity in the waterways.
Chief Igerewari further decried the continue clash of cult groups in the area, stating that his tenure would no longer tolerate any form of gangerism in the LGA.
The Abolga boss was speaking during the inauguration of the new CTC members at Abua the council secretariat.
Shortly after the inauguration exercise, the CTC boss held a crucial meeting with the security agents in the LGA. ###
