Authors tasks writers on Research Dedication

The author of the Book titled “The Man You Need” Rev. Israel Ahamefula Amadi has tasked writers in the state to do proper research before writing a book.

Rev. Amadi made the remark at the launching of his book titled “The Man You Need” at the Anglican Church Igwuruta over the weekend.

The author who is also a clergy in the Diocese of Ikwerre Anglican Communion said the writer needs research, energy and money to meet up the challenges surrounding writing. He stated that the titled of the book is as a result of his seeking many ways of help in life but to no avail saying that every nation, state and individual have a challenge of life and the only way out is Jesus Christ and that is the man you need according to the title.

The man of God blamed the killings in the state to their disobedient to God and Jesus Christ while charging the youths to seek the face of God.

Earlier, the chairman of the occasion and the chief launcher, Barr. Ezemoye Ezekiel Amadi stated that the Governor of Rivers State Bar. Nyesom Wike should step-up the security challenges in the state. “Even the Governor is not satisfied with the security situation in the state”, he stated

Represented by Hon. Kiriel Wobodo a former chairman of Ikwerre LGA stated that due to the killing in the state daily everybody should work with the police to give proper information.

In an interview shortly after the event, the National Treasurer of Anglican Youth Fellowship (Nigeria), Mr. Innocent Worusah, CPA maintained that even the government cannot supply the answer the challenges of life.

In his contribution, the book reviewer, Sir Israel Amadi explained that the book centred on the need for mankind to seek God through Jesus Christ noting that the mystery of the cross depicts a lot of issues such as shame, pain and sacrifice while charging Christians to wear the toga of Jesus Christ.

He advised all to read despite the challenges of life especially hardship and social engagement which has reduced the reading culture.

Also speaking, a lecturer with the University of Port Harcourt, Dr. Joseh Orluchukwu said the book came at the right time when there is a crisis in the area of cultism, as the book is mouth watering and a thing of joy.###
