Ques: Sir tell us little about yourself
Ans: Damiete West is my name. I am a native of Buguma in the Asari-Toru Local Government. I am a staunch politician and a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. I hail from ASALGA ward 8. I have served PDP at different capacities. Currently, I am the Assistant National Secretary of a frontline pro-democracy group in Rivers State known as the Grassroot Development Initiative GDI.
Ques: Critically assess Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike’s administration in the past eleven (11) months
Ans: Governor Wike is my grand patron. Without mincing words, I will categorically state that the Governor has done marvelously well, despite a lot of distractions from the opposition parties. I will give him kudos for what he has done in every sector of the economy. In the area of road construction, I will score him one hundred percent (100%). Inspite of the opposition, especially members of the All Progressives Congress, APC fueling crisis in the different parts of the state, the Governor is trying his best possible to curb the heinous acts. I know that the governor is taking us to somewhere, and very soon we shall all arrive at the Promised Land.
APC and other opposition parties should stop distracting the governor and join hands with the present administration to move the state forward.
Let me use this medium to advice the people of the state to support the government’s policies and programmes and rally round the governor to succeed. I am very optimistic that Governor Wike will lead us to the Promised Land. And I am always praying that God Almighty should release His wisdom on him to succeed.
Ques: Do you see the possibility of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to win more states in 2019 elections?
Ans: Sure. With the current economic hardship introduce by the APC led government in 2019 the party (APC) will be buried alive. PDP is going to win more states and even the seat of the presidency, that I am very sure and nothing will stop it.
The APC government is devilish and wicked. Today Nigerians are in pains. The economy is in very bad shape and people are dying of hunger everyday. Nigerians are regretting of giving their mandate to President Muhammadu Buhari’s APC. One of the solutions of Nigeria’s problems is to vote out APC in 2019. And I believe that this is a task that must be done. ###
