Reports coming from Okrika Local Government Area revealed that the relationship between the Caretaker Committee, CTC Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Barr. Opuene Atekebo and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is no longer smooth and cordial.
A former councilor who pleaded anonymity told our correspondent that no member of the party is in good terms with the council boss, due to his insensitivity to the plights of the PDP members.
Information had it that the CTC Chairman had failed to carry the members of the party along in the scheme of things. This publication gathered that inspite of the problems facing the party members, the CTC boss is not showing any remorse by creating cordial relationship with the party faithful. Nobody knows why Hon. Atekebo decided to be adamant to the plights of the party members.
All efforts to contact the CTC Chairman proved abortive as his security officials barricaded our reporter from seeing him.
