Delga Constituency: Farah Crashes Out In Re-run Polls

As the re-run elections of the State/National Assembly draws nearer, the people of Delga constituency have told Hon. Dr. Farah Dagogo to sink his ambition, adding that he cannot scale through the polls because of his poor performance within his seven (7) months stay in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
A formidable political group known as Delga Political Associates disclosed this at a press briefing in Port Harcourt on Monday. The group said that the people of the constituency no longer have confidence in Dr. Farah Dagogo to represent them in the legislative chamber of the Rivers State House of Assembly because he has been tested and failed.
The group spoke through their leader, Comrade Davies Adokiye said that a vote for Farah, is a vote for political slavery in the Degema Local Government Area, stating that Dr. Farah Dagogo had no locus-standi to seek for their mandate in the forthcoming re-run election in the state.
According to Comrade Adokiye, the Delga constituency under Dr. Farah Dagogo could be best described as “deceit of the highest order. The group called on Farah to step down for Hon. Billy Braide of the All Progressives Congress, APC, adding that Hon. Braide is the answer.
“Farah Dagogo did not perform well while in the Assembly. Thank God that his election was nullified. He should withdraw from the race, because going through his scorecard, he cannot represent the people of Degema constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly”, Comrade Adokiye concluded.
Reacting swiftly to the allegations leveled against the former lawmaker, his media aide, Lawal Ibrahim described the said group as non-existing, and attributed it to the handiwork of political enemies that do not want to see the progress of Delga Constituency.
Lawal said that Farah Dagogo had performed well while in the RSHA, expressing optimism that the ex-lawmaker will win on the day of the re-run election.
According to him many have benefited from his philanthropic gesture. He called on all and sundry to cast their votes for Dr. Farah Dagogo come March 19, 2016, stating that he is the right candidate for the job. ###
