“Don’t Interfere With Odum Kingship Stool”, Bakana Monarch Tells Opponents

The Amanyanabo of Bakana community in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, King O.O Odum VIII has warned opponents and critics not to interfere with the revered Odum Kingship stool.
Speaking to newsmen at his palace in Bakana, the monarch revealed that his opponents who moved against him while he was struggling to establish Odum dynasty have made U-turn, now that he had won the case in court, after the thirty-eight (38) years of litigations.
The Amanyanabo noted that those who supported late Kengan Willi-Braide to sink the Odum stool are now formenting troubles in the community.
King Odum VIII frowned at the attitude of his critics and opponents.
Asking rheritorically how can one claims something that you did not believe in? According to him, initially his opponents did not believe the establishment of the ancient kingship stool of Odum, “now that I have won them in court, they are now claiming the kingship stool they did not believe in”.
His words, “I have fought and established the Odum stool. None of my opponents has right to come and take it from me. They should stop worrying themselves”. If anything happens in Bakana they should hold them responsible”.
The Bakana monarch stated that thorugh his efforts, the Odum stool was recognized and classified by the government of Rivers State under the leadership of chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
He blasted his opponents for the secret moves to covet the prestigious Odum stool he fought for with his resources, time and energy. The king called on the state government and the relevant authorities not to listen to the claims of his opponents stating that “they are trouble makers and have nothing to offer the Bakana community. ###
