The Odum Royal Youths of Bakana has applauded Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his intervention in bringing peace and orderliness into Bakana community in the Degema Local Government Area.
The youths said that Wike’s decision to wade into the Bakana kingship tussle, and subsequently upgraded the ancient king Odum stool to 2nd class and the recognition of HRH O. O. Odum VIII as the authentic Amanyanabo of Bakana is the wisest thing ever done by his administration.
The chairman of the Odum Royal Youths of Bakana, Comrade Sosepiribo Ferguson who made this known at a press briefing in Port Harcourt on Monday, expressed optimism that with the classification of King Odum stool and recognition of HRH O.O. The Odum Royal Youths of Bakana maintained that the youths will ever remain grateful to Governor Wike and the Court of Appeal the role they played in taking the Bakana community to the next height.
