Supreme Court Verdict: Asalga GDI Felicitates With Gov. Wike

wwwwikThe Asari-Toru Local Government Area chapter of the Grasroot Development Initiative, GDI has felicitated with the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike over his electoral victory in the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the congress held in Port Harcourt on Monday. The communiqué was signed by Chief Hon. Odiari Princewill, Alabo Surv. Charlesye Charles, Bro. Opakirite Horsfall, Alabo Thrope Barango Tariah, Prof. Macaulay Lilly, Hon. Mrs. Siya Eferebo and Hon. Mrs. Adaba Erekosima.
The group described Governor Wike as a good and effective administrator that has the heart to develop the state. The Asalga GDI noted that with the Supreme Court victory, Rivers people will begin to feel the positive impact of the Wike’s administration. The Asalga GDI thanked God Almighty for Governor Wike’s electoral success at the Supreme Court, describing it as divine mandate.
The entire members of the Asalga GDI expressed optimism that will implement policies that the governor will ignite development and launch the State on the right path of speedy transformation.
The communiqué reads in part “Our grand patron, the Supreme Court judgment is the Lord’s doing. With this verdict it is now proved to the entire world that the Rivers people gave you their mandate on the April 11, 2015 gubernatorial election in the state. Our grand patron let us use this medium to say congratulations. May the Almighty God guide and protect you as you pilot the affairs of the state in the next four year”.
The group reiterated its determination to support the programmes and the policies of the government and enjoined all and sundry to rally round the governor to succeed.
The Asalga GDI, however urged the people of the area to come out enamss to vote for all the candidates of PDP in the March 19, 2016, re-run elections in the LGA. ###
