Eze Ambassador Sunny Weli Chuku, the Eze Omenma Eli 1 of Rumuodikirike, Elelenwo and Oropotoma, Evo kingdom in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has assured Hon. O.K Chinda that the family of Rumuodikirike will standby him in the forthcoming re-run election in the state.
Hon. Chinda was representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in the National Assembly before his election was truncated by the election Appeal Tribunal in December last year.
The Eze Omenma Eli 1 who was speaking during this year’s Rumuodikirike family day celebration extolled the leadership qualities of Hon. O.K. Chinda, promising that the sons and daughters of the family and indeed the entire Elelenwo kingdom will not forsake him in the re-run election.
The Eze who expressed joy and happiness over the success of the family day celebration, called on the entire members of Rumuodikirike to shun hatred, jealousy and greed, saying that it is good for relations to live together in unity and harmony.
He thanked God for releasing His blessings and mercies on Rumuodikirike family and lauded the members for their peaceful disposition and love for one another.
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Dr. Tony Chuku maintained that no community develops in the atmosphere of rancour and acrimony. He thanked the members of the family for their love and unity, and expressed believe that as the family sought the face of God, developmental projects will be attracted to the community. ###
