Buguma Chiefs’ Council Supports Kidnapping, Cultism – Asalga APC

The Asari-Toru Local Government Area chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has accused the Buguma Council of Chiefs of providing safe landing for kidnappers and cultists to operate in the area.
A chieftain of the party in the LGA, Comrade Ibigo George slammed the accusation following the exoneration of the community from political violence and heinous crime by the chiefs.
It would be recalled that since the security agents raided the residence of the Caretaker Committee (CTC) Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Soboma Jackrich the Buguma Chiefs’ council is not happy with APC and the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, which they accused of the brain-behind the early morning raid.
The supporters of the Asalga Boss also accused the erstwhile chairman of the LGA, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree of masterminding the raid.
A statement issued by the media aide to the ex-council boss, Prince Asi Dateme, revealed that some dangerous ammunition and arms were recovered during the raid. According to the media Aide, PVCs numbering hundreds were also seen and carted away in the home of the CTC chairman by the security agents.
Comrade George lampooned the Buguma Chiefs Council of supporting gangsterism in the area, “how can the chiefs will say that Buguma is peaceful, when the residents are living in fear.
When cultism and hooliganism have taken their roots in Buguma community. When people are dying in Buguma everyday”.
He called on the members of the Chiefs Council to re-examining themselves, and stop playing politics with peoples’ lives. Comrade George who further blasted the PDP members in the area for formenting troubles and crises, saying that very soon the era of impunity, heartless and senseless killings will be over. George had earlier accused some members of the Chiefs Council of collecting money from the CTC Chairman to support evil things in Buguma. ###
