The Bonny LGA chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPs) has honoured its State President, Hon. (Sir) Victor A. D. Green. The event took place at the Youth Federation Hall, Bonny last week, during the association’s end of year party.
Speaking at the event, the Bonny Chairman of NAPPS, Rev. Cyril A. Pollyn, thanked the state president for his leadership style.
He said that NAPPS in the state under the leadership of Hon. (Sir) Green, the association is now wearing good look.
Rev. Pollyn recalled that in 2005 a daughter of Ibani Kingdom, Dr. (Mrs.) Edna Opara, nee Jumbo elected the first female president of NAPPS.
Responding, the state president of NAPPS, Hon. (Sir) Green applauded the Bonny Unit of the Private Schools’ owners the honour done him.
Hon (Sir) Green lauded the Bonny NAPPS for always emerging first position out of 40 component unit of NAPPS in Rivers State in every activity.
The state president of NAPPS while felicitating with the Bonny chapter for its focus and direction in enhancing education in the area, thanked the Bonny LG council, Bonny Chiefs, the police, the Zonal Director of Education and the good people of Bonny for the cordial relationship existing between the NAPPS and the kingdom.
In his speech, the zonal director of education, Bonny, Elder Sunny Jumbo commended the Bonny unit NAPPS and urged them to maintain the spirit of unity of among them. He charged the exco to also shun rumour mongering and bickering, adding that no organization succeeds in the atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
The State NAPPS president received his award alongside with the State Secretary of NAPPS, Elder Sunday A. Jaja. ###
