The chairman Bonny Local Government Area Caretaker Committee, Hon. (Amb.) Charles T. Jumbo, on Wednesday inaugurated CTC members and other political appointees of the area at the council Secretariat Bonny.
Those inaugurated include: Hon. Dagogo Zac. Benstowe – Supervisor for Health, Madam Victoria Browen – Education, Clementina Allison – Agriculture, Mr. lgelima Pepple – Works, Mr. John Chimezie – Special Duties and Mr. Emmanuel Wilcox -Youth and Sports.
The council boss also inaugurated advisers: they are Hon. Samuel Jumbo for Transport, Amaopusenibo Wilson E.S Jumbo – Cultural/Tradition, Mr. Souala Brown – Security/Surveillance, Ibifubara Longjohn -Industrial Matters, Miss Grace Hart -Student Affairs, Mrs Bridget Bristol -Women Affairs. Others are: Mr. Claudius Hart – Environment, Mrs Dukedia -Special Duties and Lukeman Damen –Intra-party Affairs.
The council chairman also appointed some principal/administrative officers of the council. They include: Barr. Samuel H. Jumbo- Council Secretary, Mr. Isaac Banigo – Chief of Staff, Mrs Furo Philip Pepple – Chief Protocol, Jerry Halliday – Special Assistant, Florence, Personnel Assistant, Mr. Fubara A. Abbey- Chief Security and Mr. Tamuno Dan Jumbo – Chief Press Secretary.
In his speech, the CTC chairman, Hon. T. Jumbo charged the appointees to be dutiful in their assignments so as to create good image of the administration, adding that his administration will not condole any truancy in the council.
Hon. Jumbo assured of carrying every body along in scheme of things, saying that the PDP led administration is poised to do its best in touching people’s lives in the area.
He pointed out that his administration will ensure employments of youths in the area.
He, however, solicits for maximum support among all saying that his administration will operate open door policy to all.
The new CTC boss commended the executive Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, Amasenibo Rodaford O. longjohn and others for the confidence reposed in him and others to pilot the affairs of Bonny Local Government Area.
He, however, charged the appointees to see their appointments as a call to serve the people of the LGA.
In his acceptance remarks, Hon. Dagogo Zac. Benstowe on behalf of the appointees thanked the council boss for honour done them to serve in his cabinet. He assured that the appointees will effectively discharge their official assignments. ###
