Empowering the young women is like saving in bank that cannot be affected by any theft of any kind. The good outcome of the investment cannot all be consumed in totality.
Young women empowerment is of good importance to both nations and the empowered. By empowering young girls, the future is secured because these are the mothers that are and will take care of spring coming up in the society. I mean, they have direct influence on people (children) that coming under them. They are also people who are going to manage top offices in the future.
When the young women are empowered, it reduces the poverty standard of any nation, when they are empowered financially, the young women use the profit they make from the business, they do to sustain themselves and their households. Some of them may start up businesses for their relations who were poor before and if this continue to grow to some extent, poverty will be eradicated from that environment. Empowering the young women with skills can also go long way in reducing poverty percentage of many societies. When a young woman learns skills, she can use the skills acquired to feed, assist others and even invest for future use. The skills one acquired can assist her till the end of life. A young woman who is empowered on fashion and designing can earn from it till she dies.
Good governance is attainable with young women empowerment. An empowered young woman stands to empower the masses. Any young woman who is empowered in the time of hardship will lead her people through the right path. She will do anything possible to see that she meets up with the demand of the society. Again, young woman who are empowered on leadership skills will do well in leadership positions. This is because she applies what she learnt and makes her governance acceptable to the citizens. With young women empowerment on leadership, embezzlement of public funds by top governing officers become a history. Through empowering the young women on leadership skills they understand the danger of funds embezzlement.
When young women are empowered, it reduces crimes. Crime is offensive act against individual or states. Many women indulge in dirty businesses because they lack empowerment. Government spends a lot in the name of fighting crimes, without understanding the formula or solution. If the government wants to fight crime among women, she should start with empowering young women. Many young women take part in illegal activities because they were not empowered morally, academically as well as financially. When a young woman is been empowered and is doing well in her area of empowerment, her mind busy on how to go to the next stage of her business, what will make her leave her business and go prostituting on the streets in the night when she was suppose to be resting from her busy day.
Young women empowered in society will not seriously suffer from the problem of unemployment because a skill empowered woman is a job creator. This is because from the acquired skills she got through the empowerment gained, she can expand her business and employ more citizens which in return will help in solving unemployment challenges in the country.
One of the problems that many societies are facing is, they see the education of a woman as something that end in the kitchen. But in this new era or dispensation, it is not like that again. They don’t know that there is a huge benefit in empowering a woman by giving her a good education. When young women are empowered educationally, they will support the education sector of their nations. Empowering young women academically accelerates the spirit of patriotism in education sector. The empowered women know the importance of education, that is the reason why many women after scholarship to students, because they understand the value of education due to the empowerment after given to them.
National Growth is the increase and improvement in many areas of the country. There can be no meaningful advancement where women are excluded. If empowerments of young women are ignored, there cannot be any meaningful growth in the nation. Imagine where almost half of the population of a country is left out useful contributions to the nation, how will such nation survive? When young women are empowered, they will use the profit to assist the country.
So I strongly recommend that young women should be empowered to have to desired our dream nation. ###
