Indications have emerged that the All Progressives Congress, APC have concluded plans to make Rivers State seemingly ungovernable in such circumstance that, recalled the 2005/2006 era where citizens could not move freely on the streets of the state capital but with hands raised up.
The Newswriter society checks report that occasion on the Saturday 24th October, 2015 election petition tribunal judgment nullifying the gubernatorial election and majority of State House of Assembly seats in Rivers State as well as the Tuesday 27th October, 2015 Supreme Court ruling that okayed the relocation of the tribunal to Abuja, the APC youths in parts of Port Harcourt – Marine Base, trans-Amadi and other suburbs in the state boasted they are ready by the rulings to make Rivers State ungovernable for governor Wike led PDP government.
The APC youths who declined mention in print further boasted to unleash mayhem on the citizens particularly the PDP supporters but expressed shock over the PDP’s faith which according to them are not wavering even at the judgment of the tribunals.
But in a sharp response, supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party have warned the APC youths from dreaming or insinuating crisis in the state saying that, attempt by any individual or federal government to cause pains in Rivers State would amount to an unimaginable action as envisaged by the APC.
Meanwhile, the PDP national secretariat has warned the APC and those involve in the planned sack of the PDP in Nigeria via suppression to desist forthwith as the nation may heads anarchy if the truth is not told; saying the tribunal and Supreme Courts ruling is leading the nation to anarchy.
In a similar development, the PDP support group has called on Governor Nyesom Wike, CON, to immediately constitute his full cabinet saying that now is the ripe and right time to ensure a full cabinet to lead the sate into the desired development. ###
