Members of the Okrika Grammar School Old Boys Association (OGSOBA) from all walks of life are warming up for the clebration of the 75 years Diamond Jubilee come November this year.
We gathered that (OGSOBA) branches in USA, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Owerri ad Bayelsa States have been holding series of meetings in recent times, to actualize the jubilation, as a unity edifice worth millions of naira has been completed.
Our correspondent reported that the Unity Hall was a collective responsibility of the Old Boys of the school, adding that it is for the good of the school, irrespective of ownership as it shall create the continuous presence of the Old Boys.
In a related development, the OGS Old Boys of K Class 1985/91 are also warming up to celebrate their silver jubilee which date is slightly different from the parent body. We gathered the silver jubilee committee chairman; Mr. Diepiriye Opusunju is to expand the coast in order to award a good number of its members from all walks of life which have contributed immensely to the growth of the association.
Earlier, K Class 1985 President, Mr. Fyemieari, Alubo, the secretary, Comrade Bennett James, Difiye Direh, Deinma Luckyn, among others, had admonished members to pay up their dues, adding that a good number of the members will be given the award. ###
