Stop Ranting Over Bursary Payment, NUAS Tells Faceless Protesters

Faceless Protesters on the air waves over non payment of Bursary allowances to students of Andoni extraction in tertiary institutions, claiming to be members of the National Union of Andoni Students, NUAS, have been cautioned against impersonating the body since only one of such body exists in the Local Government Area.

National President of NUAS, Comrade Gogo Emmanuel issued the warning in Port Harcourt, Tuesday while debunking allegations leveled against him and the Caretaker Chairman of Andoni LGA, Hon. Ere Victor.

Gogo Emmanuel who spoke to The Newswriter, said there was no iota of truth in the allegations that the CTC chairman refused to pay bursary allowances to Andoni students in tertiary institutions, explaining that the faceless individuals sponsored by some tired and frustrated politicians against the chairman erred when they alleged that the chairman had bribed the National President against the interest of all members.

According to NUAS national president, the council CTC chairman had hosted the executives of NUAS where and when the budget of the union was presented to the council for assistance, stating that the CTC chairman and his cabinet had promised assisting and working with the union achieving its goals and wondered why faceless individuals could spring from no where to embarrass the council.

Debunking the allegations, the NUAS boss, noted that they (NUAS) are optimistic that the council which granted them audience, received their budget and equally sponsoring the upcoming event of Tuesday would also do all within her reach to meeting the union’s demand.

He however cautioned the faceless individuals to be ware of implications and rewards of impersonation as well as the danger of igniting crisis in an area of relative peace.

He further challenged the individuals he described as faceless, fearful and impersonators to identify themselves if they are humans, noting that no human of sound mind could went on air about an acclaimed reality and demanded for anonymity.

Gogo Emmanuel also challenged those faceless protesters to produce evidence of their claims against him.

Meanwhile, the Andoni Local Government Council has dismissed the claims of miscreants who were hired by frustrated politicians to riddle the council, saying their efforts is already in futility as the chairman waxes on.

The deputy director of Press in the council James Mgboineme told newsmen in Port Harcourt that it is regrettable that the accusers of the chairman are faceless as their accusations, and call on the general public and Andoni indigenes to jettison the purported allegations, as well adviced them to be careful of frustrated politicians who would do anything to bring others down to their status.

The council however, further call on all youths in the LGA to remain law abiding citizens, not allowing anyone to use them against the laws of the land, while wishing NUAS well in their up coming Tuesday health awareness programme.
