Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good Goverance (KUPIGG) has commended the Caretaker Committee CTC chairman of the Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon. Ikechukwu Obuzor, for effective performance and good leadership qualities.
This was contained in a press release issued in Port Harcourt on Monday and made available to The Newswriter. The group applauded the LGA boss for organizing a free medical treatment in the area.
The release which was jointly signed by Comrade Jerry Horsfall, chairman of the group, Mr. Mpaka Idoniboye, (PRO) and Mrs. Philomena Martins, Coordinator – non Kalabari speaking indigenes without Border, KUPPIG facilitated with Hon. Obuzor for bagging the best CTC chairman award on health, sanitation and water.
The Kalabari group further expressed appreciation to Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for giving Hon. Obuzor the opportunity to serve the people of the Ahoada –West LGA.
As a result of excellent work, Hon. Obuzor has performed, KUPPIG appealed to Governor Wike to extend his tenure or upgrade him to higher position.
The group described Hon. Obuzor as a worthy son, true democrat and man that has the interest of the people at heart.
They further thanked the council boss for prompt payment of workers and political appointee’s salaries, and massive economic empowerment, which had endeared him to the hearts of the rural dwellers.
KUPPIG condemned the recent protest against Hon. Obuzor, describing it as the handiwork of the evil doers, ugly and sad situation. The group called on the people of the area to rise up against the evil ones that want to pull down the good image of Hon. Obuzor.###
