Rotary Club of Port Harcourt East District 9140 has over the weekend installed Rtn Dr. Damian Chima Ukaji president for 2015/2016 Rotary year.
Speaking at the occasion, Ukaji said that his regime will build toilets and support free medical service to the people.
In his maiden service to the club, he sworn-in members of his regime and gave award to meritorious members of the public who distinguished self in the society.
Advising the president for good success, men of good will in their separate speeches told newsmen that Ukaji should work with those who appointed him including all members of the Rotary club.
These men who described Rotary as “be a gift to the world” had it that Rotary is the easiest means to help the poor and that they love to contribute to Rotary so that all will benefit.
Speaking to journalists, the outgoing President, Rtn. Noble Nwenenda Isi said that he was proud to handover a vibrant club to his successor. ###
