Dr. Cletus Ibeto the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ibeto Cement Nigeria Limited and other group of companies has added another feather in his cap as the Nigerian Medical Association has bestowed him, an award of excellence” and six other prominent Nigerians who received different categories of awards”.
The ceremony took place at the Glass House Event Centre 37 Rumuola, Airforce linked Road in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State during the Nigeria Medical Association Rivers State chapters week long annual award.
In his address at the ceremony, Dr. Furo Green, the chairman Rivers State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA noted that Dr. Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto CON fell in the award of excellence” category described him as a private citizen known for his astute entrepreneurial skills was nominated for award of excellence, pointing out that he has contributed immensely to the well being of thousands as well as to the state’s economy, emphasizing that Ibeto is well known, describing him as a very good friend of members of the Nigeria Medical Association.
In a citation on Dr. Cletus Madubugwu Ibeto CON read by one of the members of the NMA proved that Dr. Ibeto was born on the 6th of November 1952 in Obiofia Umuenem Otolo Nnewi in Anambra State.
Ibeto holds bachelor degree in accountancy from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
According to him, over the years after his graduation in 2007, he has had numerous training seminars and conferences within the country, the United States of America, United Kingdom and Japan.
Indigenous and enterprising, Cletus Ibeto started his working career in 1970 stepping into what has become a massive business dream with the establishment of Ibeto Brothers Trading company as its sole proprietor, subsequently he has been chairman CEO Ibeto and sons Nig. Limited, he is also a director in several other companies.
Receiving the award at the ceremony, Dr. Ibeto who was represented by a Finance director in his company expressed his profound gratitude to the Rivers State branch of the Nigeria Medical Association NMA, for the honour done him and his colleagues pointing out that the award will spur him to continue in his selfless service to humanity.
He also promised to partner with the NMA to ensure good health in the state. ###
