The premises of Future Hope Group of Schools located at No. 1 Okeohia Street, Mile 2, Port Harcourt, became an attraction for academic excellence when the management, staff and students of the school appeared in gorgeous grand style to celebrate their annual end of the year party! graduation ceremony.
In an opening remark by the chairman of the occasion, Mr. Omerge Didienni Ebiegberi, while thanking all and sundry for gracing the occasion, analyzed the necessity of education to the society adding that impact of the school on the children is a paramount both academically, socially and economically. The proprietress of the school, Mrs. Helen Eberechi Opurum, while presenting an address heartily welcomed all and sundry for making an appearance to that momentous occasion, she enumerated the commitment, struggle, and contributions of the school management which was founded in 1999, the positive on the children and the society at large, she further acknowledged the uncompromising effort of illustrious parents who contributed to the growth and existence of the school and also for contributing immensely to the epoch- making occasion.
In the same view, the proprietress of the school, Mrs. Helen Eberechi Opurum appreciated the academic efforts invested in the pupils/students’ by’ the dynamic and famous tutors of the institution thereby advising the students to build on those virtuous qualities to enable them come’ out in flying colors wherever they are. She enumerated drainage system as one of the problems facing ‘the school and its environs which made, almost inaccessible. She therefore called on the government and individuals to come to their aid. Speaking at the occasion which featured highly governmental and coporate personalities, the president general of the League of Character Clubs Nigeria, Character High Chief Eze Christian AY Kokoriko (Tourist) expressed delight on the high level of academic excellence’ showcased by the students, and further assured the school selfless support.
In a message by the pupils/students who performed different activities making the occasion which included welcome song recitation, comedy, drama, debate etc.
They called on parents to bring their children to (Future Hope Group of Schools) located at No. 1 Okehia Street Mile 2 Diobu Port Harcourt, adding “The future is as strong as you build it” The highlight of the occasion was BEAUTY PAGEANT won by both male and female pupils and was conducted by the Head Master,’ Mr. Gift Opurum. ###
