There was pandemonium, panic, confusion and gnashing of teeth in Okrika, penultimate week, following an alleged murder of one Mr. Promise Arieweriokuma (aka Opugbele, my son) by his cousin, Mr. Amos Abaku.
We gathered that Mr. Amos Abaku, now at large and the deceased were of the same grandparents in Abaku family.
Our correspondent reports that trouble started when Mr. Amos and the deceased were laying claim to a room belonging to their forebear.
According to a source when the duo had physical combat, the deceased allegedly stabbed Amos’ ear and check several times.
This medium gathered that Amos who had sustained wounds retaliated days after, by allegedly poured the deceased substance suspected to be acid because he was not satisfied with the judgment as handed by CDC.
The Newswriter was briefed that police in Okrika are now on top of the situation as they are now investigating the crime. ###
