The Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good Governance (KUPIGG) has sent a letter of congratulations to the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Chief Odairi Princewill.
The group described the appointment of Chief Princewill as a clear testimony of hardwork and commitment to community development.
The congratulations letter which was signed by Comrade Jerry Horsfall (Chairman), Bob Spiff (Director-General), Mpaka Idoniboye (PRO) and Mrs. Philomina Martins (coordinator-non-indigenes), the group commended the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for appointing Chief Princewill to pilot the affairs of Asari-Toru Local Government Area as the CTC chairman.
KUPIGG had pledged its support to cooperate with the Governor to ensure peace and stability in the state.
The group prayed God to shower His blessings on Chief Princewill and endow him with wisdom, knowledge and understanding to carry out his official duties.
The Kalabari group, however, commended the chairman for his efforts to ensure power supply in the LGA after over one year of power outage. The KUPIGG also applauded the council boss for restoration of peace and orderliness in LGA, and gave kudos to other members of CTC, especially Hon. Opakirite Horsfall, the Supervisor for Education and Co-ordinator of Grassroot Development Initiative, (GDI) in Asalga for supporting the CTC chairman to move the Asalga forward. ###
