Asalga Chairman Warns Political Appointees Against Absenteeism

The Caretaker Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chief Odiari Princewill has warned political appointees in the area not to absent themselves from duty, saying that his administration will not tolerate any form of truancy and late coming.
The chairman who issued the warning while swearing in five (5) advisers and the secretary to the council in Buguma last week, advised them to discharge their duties effectively.
Chief Princewill further charged the principal officers of the council to be focused in order to serve the LGA better.
He enjoined them to avoid anything that will bring the council into disrepute, and pleaded with them to come out with good policies and ideas that will fast track development in Asari-Toru Local Government Area.
Responding the secretary to the council, Engr. Inye George thanked the CTC chairman for finding them worthy. He promised that they will discharge their official functions well, and reiterated their support to the chairman.
Those sworn-in were: Hon. Datonye George (Administrative Matters), Hon. Afie Dappa (Tourism), Hon. Claudius Princewill (Special Duties), Hon. Prince Batubo (Skills Acquisition) and Barr. Victor Amachree (Procurement). ###
