Coach of Holland football club of Port Harcourt, Nnabuwe Kenneth has boldly stated that his team, a youthful side has the likes of Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo in stock in Holland football club.
Holland football Club is a youthful football club that looks like an academy, as it runs age grade football with the youths of Port Harcourt.
The team has U-13, U-15 and U-16 in it folds. This spectacular team is founded and mange by Martins Miebaka, a young man who was one time curator of Sharks football club of Port Harcourt.
Without a sponsor the team has grown from strength, to strength and had entered into many competitions with laurels in their kitty.
Just 2nd of August, 2015 they won the 1st prize and the trophy of Jet cup U-13 football competition.
Eleven teams registered for the competition where Holland FC excelled itself to claim the 1st position, leaving the Kings football club U-13 team to emerged 2nd position and United Stars claimed the 3rd position.
Forty thousand naira (N40,000), twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) and ten thousand was given out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively as cash reward by the sponsor.
The competition started 6th June, 20915 and ends 2nd August, 2015. Sharks football club stadium provides the competition venue.
Speaking to The Newswriter sports, coach of Holland football club, Port Harcourt, Nnabuwe Kenneth, said he has given up his other duties just to be with the lads.
He said he loves the boys for loving football. He described Holland FC young lads as disciplined focused and ready to explode to be world future football greats.
According to him, the football talents in Holland FC are more than Lionel Messi of Argentina and Barcelona FC. He expressed joy for the boys not letting him down. He particularly expressed satisfaction on his effort with the boys producing result by the boys winning the “Jet cup 2015” U-13 soccer competition”.
Revealing the worth of the boys, he said Holland FC had represented Rivers police U-13 national soccer competition at Abuja and lifted the major trophy.
The young passionate coach said, he dream of becoming a world class coach one day, hence he has given his time to coaching the young future Lionel Messis and Ronaldos in Holland FC.
He however, appeal to corporate and lovers of good football to watch his lads, and please if pick one or two players out of the lots for sponsorship.
He decried the situation where there are no people coming to look out for the boys as boots, training materials and finance to honour matches are some of the problems militating against the progress of the team and the boys as whole.
He appealed to the state government to recognize the team so as to produce the likes of Kanu, Okocha, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo in the future. ###
