RSCAS Provost Proceeds On Compulsory Leave

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has ordered the Provost of the Rivers State College of Arts and Science (RSCAS), Dr. Hillary Wordu, to proceed on compulsory leave.

The order was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt in the opening week, and signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sir Opunabo Inko-Tariah.

According to the statement, Wordu would handover to Dr. Samuel Kalagbor with immediate effect.

In another development, Governor Wike had also   appointed a Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, and five Permanent Secretaries.

The Senior Special Assistant on Protocol is Mr. Joe Akpa, while Dr. Adolphus Nweke (Etche), Mrs. Abiye Tobin-West (Asari/Toru), Dr. Nkor Felix (Gokana), James Enebeli   (Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni), and Anthony Nweyilobu       (Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni), are appointed as permanent secretaries.

According to Inko-Tariah, all the appointed persons would be sworn in by the governor at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.
