The Buguma council of Chiefs has felicitated with the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Hon. Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON and his deputy Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo for their successful swearing in.
This was contained in a letter of congratulations sent to the government, the Chiefs Council said, “We are mindful of your vision statement which is build a state that is truly united, secure and prosperous with boundless opportunities for those who live in it to peacefully pursue their goals and realize their full potentials in dignity and happiness. Your mission statement which is also greed to actualize the aspirations of the people of Rivers State for a balanced development and an enhanced quality of life for the present and future generations through responsive governance guided by the fear of God is highly commendable”.
The letter which was signed by the Chairman of the Buguma Council of Chiefs, BCC, Chief Charles P. D. Amachree, the chiefs prayed that the Almighty God guide and protect the governor and his deputy with wisdom to actualize the vision and mission of the state.
The Chiefs’ Council maintained that, considering the track records of the governor, the Buguma Chiefs declared that they do not have any doubt that the governor Wike will lead Rivers State peacefully, successfully and above all provide the desired dividends of democracy to the good people of the state. And further prayed God to shower His blessing on the Governor.###
