Asalga PDP, GDI Women Leaders Applaud Wike, CTC Boss

Women leaders in Asari-Toru Local Government chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and the Grassroot Development Initiative, (GDI) have commended Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for appointing women into the positions of trust in the state.

The woman leader of PDP and GDI in Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs.) Adaba Erekosima stated this while speaking to newsmen in her office in Buguma, headquarters of the council on Monday.

She lauded the governor for his giant strides, saying that Ezenwo Wike has performed well within a short period of time. Hon. (Mrs.) Erekosima expressed confidence that Wike’s administration will usher in the needed development into the state.

Hon (Mrs.) Erekosima who is also a member of Caretaker Committee (CTC) and Supervisor for Women Affairs in Asari-Toru Local Government Area noted that while in office she will initiate policies that will bring joy and happiness to the women of Asalga.

She maintained that the women of Asari-Toru Local Government Area will continue to support all programmes and policies of Governor Wike.

The women leaders have earlier felicitated with the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Chief Odiari Princewill for his recent appointment.

Hon (Mrs.) Erekosima expressed optimism that Chief Princewill as Asalga CTC boss will fast track positive transformation in the area.

She thanked him for piloting the affairs of the LGA effectively and called on the Asalgans to give their necessary support to Chief Princewill to succeed.

Hon (Mrs.) Erekosima pledged her total loyalty to the Asalga CTC chairman, describing him as a grassroots politician and a team player.

She prayed God to give Governor Ezenwo Wike and Chief Princewill the King Solomon’s wisdom to discharge their official assignments effectively. ###
