With NFF, Nigerians Cooperation Oliseh Will Succeed – Chief Elochukwu

ELOCHUKWUA sports technocrat and stakeholder of lawn tennis, Sir. Chief Ernest Elochukwu has affirmed his believe in the newly appointed Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh.

According to him, Oliseh will succeed with the cooperation of The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerians.

He described Sunday Oliseh as one of the potential indigenous coach. Adding that, Oliseh is well exposed and has outstanding record as a player in his playing days.

He pointed out that with Oliseh’s wealth of experience he believes the coach will do well.

However, the former captain of Lawn tennis, Port Harcourt club 1928, said, it appears to him, the country’s football authority does not have respect for indigenous coaches. He lamented on the way indigenous coaches and players were treated in terms of paying their wages.

He asked “would they have treated foreign coach the way the treated Keshi? Saying the expectations of Nigerians are high for Oliseh to succeed, it will take the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerians to support Oliseh.

According to him, Nigeria has not failed in global football, Nigeria has done well.

The outspoken sports technocrat said, Oliseh performance will depend on the cooperation given to him by NFF as it is a factor for the coach to prove himself. He stressed that NFF performance with Oliseh will moticate Oliseh and the players; those he will work with to know Oliseh performance.

Sir Elochukwu maintained that Oliseh had been captain of the Super Eagles at such he will provide the leadership, like his colleague, Keshi, and with the cooperation of NFF he will provide result, adding that Oliseh of course has a duty to prove himself of the stuff he is made of technically in the field of play.

He also said, many people had wished Oliseh, he will perform if NFF will only give him the desired cooperation he needed from them. Paying salaries as when due to the players, those he will work with and himself. He believes Oliseh will perform in his new assignment as the coach of the Super Eagles. He said. ###
