A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Chief (Barr.) Tamunoibeleman Princewill has applauded Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for appointing Chief Odiari Princewill as the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Speaking to newsmen in his office in Port Harcourt on Monday, Chief Tam Princewill further commended Governor Wike for following a due process in appointing the caretaker committee chairmen and members in the twenty-two (22) local government areas in the state.
“Let me use this medium to thank His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for following a path of Justice in the appointment of the CTC chairmen and members.
This is a civilized way of doing things in a democratic setting. Unlike other states where governors did not follow legal means or respect the rule of law in dissolving the local councils. But Wike is a legal practitioner who respects the rule of law; hence he follows due process in all his dealings”, Chief Tam Princewill said.
Chief Tam Princewill who was a two time legal adviser of PDP in Asari-Toru Local government Area, described the appointment of Chief Odiari Princewill as well deserved saying that it was a right choice in the right direction.
The party chief and stakeholder in Asalga politics noted that the appointment of Chief Odiari Princewill will usher in the needed development into Asari-Toru Local Government Area. He continued by pointing out that, the governor is a man of integrity who does not forget his sincere supporters and followers
Chief Tam Princewill who was also a former aspirant, Asalga/Akulga federal constituency seat in the National Assembly prayed God to give our leader, Governor Wike the King Solomon’s wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state to the Promised Land.
The PDP chieftain had earlier felicitated with Chief Odari Princewill for his recent appointment as the CTC chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area. He prayed God to shower His blessings on the Asalga CTC boss to initiate better policies and programmes as to launch the LGA on the path of speedy development and greatness. ###
