Thieves Take Over Creek Road Market

Traders doing business at Creek Road Market, Aba Lane, Port Harcourt are facing the difficulty of having freedom selling their wares as bad boys are having a field day robbing the traders of their money on daily basis.

Those mostly affected are traders coming from Aba. They were made to pay all such of levies in the name of matching ground. Sometimes, these so called bad boys will come and collect whatever money the traders have sold for the day.

Our correspondents who have kept his eyes on the ugly trend reports that the traders are indeed facing a difficult time going home happy.

Further investigation proved that, the hard times prevailing in the state might be connected to the criminal attitude of the good for nothing boys.

Residents of town axis found comfort buying goods from the Aba lane because of it moderate price of goods sold in the market.

According to those our correspondent spoke with under the condition of anonymity revealed that, some of their good customers have stopped coming to the market, pointing out that they are suffering great loss because of the attitude of the bad boys robbing them.

They therefore called on the government of Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike to take a pro-active measure to stop these boys from harassing and embarrassing the guest traders of the state.

According to them, it is an embarrassment to Rivers State and not their families or themselves as nobody knows them.

They also commended the governor for his positive strides with few days in office and said, they believed in his ability in bringing back the status of old Rivers State and the city of Port Harcourt.###
