Happenings surrounding the longest serving player in the Super Eagles may bid farewell to his fatherland apex football team, he has so dedicated his life and time in service.
Prevailing circumstances may compel the best African safe hand in the post. Many encounter had the Nigeria Football Federation had with the outspoken gentle goaltender in the past, even as he was an assistant captain of the Super Eagles.
This is because Enyeama voiced his displeasure in some of the happenings asserted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over the Eagles (players).
Enyeama as a skipper of the Eagles has the singular right to defend and speak for the entire players of the Eagles.
In doing that, the NFF had found Enyeama wanting, hence the NFF is calling for his crucifixion.
It would be recalled that Enyeama voiced out his fears and safety of his personal life, and that of his teammates, as the skipper of the team, in the AFCON qualifier match between Nigeria against Chad here in Kaduna, Nigeria.
Enyeama was quoted as expressing his fears of the safety of his life and players of the Eagles.
This did not go down well with the NFF in the process, Enyeama was summoned through the media, meanwhile, Enyeama, had been cautioned and he had apologized to the NFF. For Enyeama, he thought the issue had been laid to rest, only for him to hear in the media that he refused to honour a summon by the NFF.
This action and many others untold issues, may make Enyeama to quit playing for the Super Eagles, if not well handled. ###
