We Will Not Witch-Hunt Any One– Dr. Banigo

ipalibo banigoRivers Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Banigo has said that the present administration is focused at developing the State and not to witch-hunt political opponent.

Dr. Banigo stated this while speaking at a special thanksgiving service organized for the success of the election and swearing in ceremony of the Deputy Governor at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church Port Harcourt.

The Deputy Governor thanked Churches and women for their support and prayers, stressing that the present administration will ensure that women are considered in affairs of the State.

She added that there is no going back in their campaign promises to Rivers People as they are working towards the dreams for the State.

Dr. Banigo described their victory as a victory for Rivers people. ”for us the success is for Rivers People”.

The Deputy Governor expressed gratitude to God and called on the Church for continued prayer for the administration, ”I believe in the Word of God, the Lord upheld his word in my life,” she said.

In his sermon the Vicar of St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church Ven. Amavey Abbey-Kalio took his text from Lamentation 3:37 and said she emerged as the first female Deputy Governor because the Lord has chosen her, urging her to be strong for the task ahead and advised her to be aware of sycophants and pray for God’s guidance and protection for the administration.
