Apostle Ogu, Others Mourns Bishop Nwator

The General Overseer of The Abundant Life Evangelical Mission, Apostle Eugene Ogu has described Late Bishop Friday Nwator as a true man of God who sacrificed his life for the common man while on the planet earth.

Apostle Ogu made the remark while in a chat with journalists during the burial ceremony of Late Bishop Friday Nwator at his home town Ogali Eleme, in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State last Saturday.

According to him, our vocation as minister of God required sacrifices for mankind and Bishop Nwator did it while on earth.

Apostle Ogu enjoined other ministers of God to emulate Late Bishop Friday Nwator for his gesture.

Apostle Ogu who was the former chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship Mission PFN in Rivers State described Nwator as a nice man who did not only served in the church but also in the state and nation as he was the Pioneer Medical Director of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt as well as other positions in the federal level advised his children to emulate the lifestyle of their father and prayed that God should protect them.

Similarly in a chat with journalists, Mr. Daniel Nwator the second son of Late Bishop Friday Nwator who expressed sadness over the death of their father noted that his demise had created a big vacuum for the family to fill.

He described his late father as a benevolent who impacted positively on the lives of many Nigerians and promised to emulate his lifestyle and described the burial ceremony as successful.

Earlier in his address, Mr. Dominic Osaro Nwator the first son of Late Friday Nwator disclosed his father who hailed from Ogali Eleme LGA was a devoted Christian, a medical doctor and a benevolent man who has the heart that bleeds for all.

According to him, Bishop Nwator life of service to God and humanity culminated in his consecration as a bishop under the Trans-Atlantic and Pacific Alliance of Churches (TAPAC) a Charismatic- Pentecostal group spreads across the world, pointing out that it was in this body that his first love for missions manifested and in its fullness and he involved himself extensively in the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.###
