The executive, delegates and members of the Board of Trustees, BoT, of Ohaji/Egbema/Agwa Youth Council; have felicitated with His Excellency, Chief Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, on his recent re-election as the executive Governor of Imo State.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Council president, Comrade Thomas Ekeh (Tommy); the Roche Agric youth landlord, stated categorically that the emergence of Okorocha at the just concluded gubernatorial polls in the state, was a victory well deserved.
The statement added the victory was for democracy, consolidation and massive development at the grassroots, adding that Imo has never been the same since Okorocha came on board and has continued to be better, just as the slogan, “Imo Must be Better”, Ekeh stated.
The youth body noted that it had over the time resolved to support and work with Okorocha’s administration, for the interest and betterment of the good people of Imo State.
The statement further noted: “We have no doubt in mind that your second tenure in office will ensure the fulfillment of the good promises and initiatives that you have in mind for Imo Palm Plantation, Roche Agric, Ohaji. While we remain resolute in supporting your government and our activities, we pray the Almighty God to continue to guide, protect and give you the wisdom of Solomon, to pioneer the affairs of state, to its expected destination.”
Comrade Ekeh on a personal assessment of Okorocha’s victory commended Barr. Jude Okorocha for the commitment and philanthropic gesture to the people of the state, before, during and after the governorship election in the state. He was of the view that most people voted Governor Okorocha for a second tenure in office, because of their love and respect for Barr. Okorocha and urged him to continue with the good work, which the state governor had already been known for.
