Ahead of Saturday April 11th, 2015 governorship, state Assembly election nationwide, a prominent Chief in Rivers State, HRH Chief Owabie Tobin, the Eze Onumini I of Port Harcourt City LGA has predicted victory for Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside the APC governorship candidate in Rivers State.
In a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt Chief Tobin maintained that God has ordained Peterside as the next governor of the state after the expiration of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi on 29th May, 2015 and enjoined his opponents not to make trouble rather should accept defeat if announced winner at the poll.
He described Dr. Peterside as a humble, quiet and God fearing man who will take Rivers State to the next level. According to him, Dr. Peterside is not an Ogboni man like some of his opponents.
The Royal father who hails from Ikwerre extraction described Nyesom Wike the governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party in Rivers State as a violent man who has no fear of God but believes in federal might.
The royal father who described Ogboni as an anti-Christ said anyone who believes in Ogboni fraternity cannot govern Rivers State.
He advised Dr. Peterside to focus more in agriculture to consolidate on governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi achievements across the 23 LGAs of the state, construction of roads, drainages in all the Diobu axis especially in Akokwa Street.
Chief Owabie who congratulated Rtd General Muhammadu Buhari the newly elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria described his victory as God manifestation and advised him, to carry everyone along in the scheme of things irrespective of religious, ethnicity including president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the incumbent president and the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate who lost at the poll.
According to him, despite the fact that Dr. Goodluck Jonathan inability to pilot the affairs of the nation effectively, Rtd Gen. Muhammadu Buhari should not punish him rather he should forgive him.
He advised Buhari to justify the confidence reposed on him so as to change Nigeria for better and consolidate on his previous leadership achievement during his tenure as the military Head of State between 1983 to 1984 where he introduced War Against Indiscipline which he used to reduce corruptions and maintained high level of cleanliness in the country.
He commended Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for his vision, support for a change and his courage despite intimidation from the federal government which finally gave Buhari victory at the poll and commended other APC chieftains who supported the newly elected president.
The royal father advised Rivers people to vote Peterside, Hon. Chima Nnokam, the APC House of Assembly candidate in Phalga Constituency III and other APC candidates in the Saturday April 11th, 2015 poll.
According to him, Rivers People cannot afford to be in opposition so they should all vote for APC candidates to be in the main stream come Saturday. ###
