A political group under the aegis of Ada Rivers State, a collective of all women in the 23 LGAs of the state has advocated for the re-election of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for a second tenure in office in March 28, 2015.
In a chat with cross section of media practitioners during a prayer session for the re-election and peaceful election in Port Harcourt, Chief Mrs. Eunice Igwe the coordinator of the group advocated that President Goodluck Jonathan deserves a re-election according to adage which said “one good turn, deserve another”.
According to her, the reason for the organization unflinching and unalloyed support for President Jonathan are crystal clear, President Jonathan is one of the most intelligent presidents of Nigeria, he is a man of character and posses other personal attributes that qualify him as “a leader of our time,” he has deployed his wealth of experience to bring about myriad of achievements during his first tenure in office which are numerous he was the first president to sign into law the Freedom of Information Act, he convoked a national conference to find an honest lasting solution to the country’s problems the report which is at verge of implementation, he has reformed the Nigeria Police and effectively outlaw toll collection of illegal police check points all over the country, he started and completed police college and housing estates for the police, he introduced a national tax policy to create a self sufficient economy that could bring development\s to the people, he remodeled and rejuvenated all our airports – international and local, he rehabilitated the Kaduna refinery which was almost moribund, he unbundled electricity distribution after about 54 years ago, power almost doubled during the present administration, President Jonathan meet power at about 2000 mega watts but we now have over 4,237 mega watts and various states have begun electricity distributions, he established Amajiri schools all over the North and prosecuted oil subsidy thieves well as appointed women into positions of trust among others hence we should vote for his re-election to continue his transformation agenda. ###
