Ahead April 11: Dakuku Predicts Election Results

Governorship hopeful of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State, Dr. Adol Dakuku Peterside has incited his party supporters of announcing what he described as row results of the yet to be conducted March 28 and April 11 general polls.

Dakuku told his fans from one of the LGAs in a gathering in Port Harcourt while addressing certain irregularities bedeviling the party against the majority of supporters, not to be panic but put in their best and work harder positing that the elections results are all over, ready and glearing hence demand more efforts to drive it home.

“As I speak to you, I can tell you now the row result, row result of the elections now that it is not cooked. More effort is required because you can be winning today and the next day you lose because of lack of effort. Put in your best effort so that we can win. Dakuku stated.

Political pundits at that gathering who were left in shock over what the candidate of the APC said wondered if the results have already been completed in the favour of APC in the state, noting that such action or statement contravenes the provisions of the Electoral Acts of 2010 as amended.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, in the state is however, warned against any one that would plunged the state into anarchy before, during and after the elections and charged politicians to be mindful of their utterances in the interest of peace.

Political pundits also call on the security operatives in the state to invite the APC candidate for interrogations over such claims of giving his supporters the row results of an election yet to be conducted, adding that the claim was in tandem with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party’s allegations against the chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega over 2015 polls. ###
