Tere-Ama market Committee Commends Wike …As Guber Hopeful Promises To Rebuild Market

The leadership of Tere-Ama Market Committee in conjunction with the entire traders of the market have lauded the bold initiatives of Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard bearer, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike who promised to rebuild Tere-Ama Market when he visited the market recently, saying his promises to the traders are overwhelming and encouraging.

Speaking to newsmen, the Chairperson and Secretary of the market committee, Mrs. Harriet Ogbanga and Madam Eunice Abbey-Kalio described the PDP governorship candidate as a visionary leader with absolute zeal for the poor masses, noting that his visit to the market has shown that he has a good heart and listening ear to the yearnings of the people.

The duo on behalf of the committee and the entire traders poured encomiums on Wike, stressing that they will vote massively for him, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and all other PDP Candidates at all levels.

In his response, Nyesom Wike remarked that he will provide an enabling environment for the traders and uplift their living standards. He decried the sanitary condition of the market, promising to provide drainage system that will be befitting to the people.

He told the traders to remain resolute and steadfast, pointing out that he will rebuild the Tere-Ama Market, provide portable drinking water, electricity and a sick- bay to carter for the sick.

Nyesom Wike also promised to turn their lives into an economically viable status, maintaining that he will provide small grants to the traders to enable them stabilize their trade, saying that his love for women is non-negotiable which made him to settle for a woman as his running mate.

The gubernatorial candidate further enjoined the women to cast their votes wisely in the forthcoming March 28th and April 11th, Presidential and gubernatorial elections by voting for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, George Thompson Sekibo for the House of Senate, Blessing Nsiegbe and Ken Chikere for the Federal House of Representatives respectively.

He equally urged them to vote massively for, his aspirations as the gubernatorial candidate on April 11, alongside Prince Tonye Adoki, the Rivers State House of Assembly candidate representing PHALGA Constituency II.’ ###
