The national female teams of Nigeria need friendlies in every categories to shape them for the international competitions before them.
Like the male national teams, same opportunities should be given to the national female counterpart.
The falcon and other female national teams have international competition waiting for them; yet no single preparation has been made.
It would be in the best interest for Nigeria to arranged grade “A” friendlies for the ladies just as their male national teams.
Though, the Super Eagles have no serious international competitions, friendlies have been arranged and played.
For the junior male teams, the flying Eagles, the dream team 6 are always having friendlies.
The just concluded Super 6 invitational tournament is a noble idea for the Nigeria Football Federation to help shape the dream team 6 and the Flying Eagles in their quest to go for victory in their forthcoming international FIFA competitions.
While the male teams have been provided opportunities to play friendlies, it goes a long way to help the nation in its international outing. The same opportunities should be provided for the female national teams. As of the time of filing in this report no friendlies is being arranged for any of the national female teams. This does not tell good of the NFF. Afterall, the female national teams have given more international glories than the male national teams.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) should treat the female national team as the male if not more. ###
