Khana Constituency I: Famaa Bariledum Promises Better Deal

FAMAA 1The candidate of Khana Constituency I seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly on the platform of the Labour Party, (LP), Comrade Famaa Bariledum Pyagbara Nkiri has promised that if given the mandate to serve will initiate policies and programmes that will put smiles on the faces of his peoples especially the youths. Saying, with his several skills he acquires in the modern agricultural technology, he will channel constituency development which is a right of the constituency towards agricultural socio-economic development that will stand as a source of employment to the unemployed youth of Nyokhana.

Famaa Bariledum PN who is eyeing, for the Rivers State House Assembly under the platform Labour Party noted if given the opportunity his constituents will benefit immensely as he will run an open government.

Speaking with The Newswriter over the week at his residence in Port Harcourt expressed optimum that his administration will ensure effective representation; empowerment and integrity described himself as solution to the agricultural problems of his constituency.

The RSHA candidate who is a businessman, a philanthropist, a technocrat, expert in corrosion control, an agriculturalist, member Nigeria Export Promotion Council has pointed out that he will bring his wealth of experience in agriculture.

His words: I will sort for international/national agricultural fund to boost agricultural out put in Nyokhana that will put smiles on the faces of small/medium scale farmers in the constituency, and also establish agricultural technology transfer center in Nyokhana.

Famaa also promised to provide portable drinking water in Nyokhana, adding that he will revive the existent waters project bearing in mind the danger of drinking mere borehole water, that his people need a treated drinking water.

While speaking further on the youth development, Bariledum further promised to establish a vocational training centre for youth alongside with the Agro technology transfer center in preparing them for self employment for better tomorrow.

When asked why he wants to represent his people at the Rivers State House of Assembly, His words: “My desire to contest for this position is to help the Nyokhana people in solving their numerous challenges in the agricultural sector which is the only source of livelihood, adding that it will interest you to know that 90% of them are peasant farmers who don’t have any access to Agro facilities, with the vast agricultural land, yet they cannot boast of taking care of their basic need, the reason is that they lack the Agric loan, limited access to agro modern facilities, lack of collateral/legal title on land ownership.

Bariledum who called on the people of his constituency (Nyokhana) to come out enmasse and vote for him as to have a fulfilled vision. ###
