CAF Outing: Dolphins Not Yet Ready

The Rivers State sponsored Dolphins of Port Harcourt one of the Nigeria representatives in this year’s CAF competition seemed not ready for the international competition.

The record of Dolphins performance in the super 6 invitational tournament indicates that the Port Harcourt side is yet to put its house together.

Dolphins did not win a single match through out the competition, it seems the Rivers State darlings have lost their quality strikers to other club.

Last season Dolphins ace goal getter Emem has parted ways with the Rivers side and had pitched tent with Egyptian clubside.

Dolphins now have the problem of a quality attacker or striker to hit the net for them now that they needed a quality striker in their continental bit.

The Rivers State government would do well to sign quality players if the club would maintained it renown past record in the continental outing record.

One, the issue of finance may be a challenge for the club as paying last season sign-on-fees was an issue before their qualification to the continental meet.

Dolphins seems to be the hope of the Rivers football followers but as the way things are going, Rivers State government may disappoint the Port Harcourt fans, as much preparation on the part of Dolphins is lacking. ###
