One thing I am sure of , whatever thing you are doing in life, you have the reason of doing it. Whether it is good or bad, you have the choice.
I am one of the founding members of the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI). I knew when and how GDI begins. GDI as a socio-political group has helped me to tour round the twenty-three (23) council areas of the state, soliciting support for the re-election of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan come Feb. 14, 2015.
As the National Assistant Secretary of GDI, I have no other option than to give all my support to my Grand Patron, Chief Hon. Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike in his bid to step into the Brick House in May 29, 2015. Someone may ask me: why do you support Chief Hon. Barr. Nyesom Wike?
Well, because of constraints of space I will give only ten (10) reasons, why I support my Grand Patron.
- He is a good Christian that has the fear of God Almighty
- He has better administrative and political experiences and acumen than his opponents in other registered political parties
- He is a detribalize Rivers indigenes.
- He understands the Rivers geographical terrain well, especially the areas where development is much needed, when he finally steps into the Government House in May.
- He has a very high political profile that always intimidate his opponents
- He is sincere in heart and ever ready to defend the unity of Rivers State.
- He revives the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the hands of some selfish public office holders in Rivers State.
- He has initiated a fantastic blueprint that will usher speedy development into the state
- He is a peace maker that does not believe in violence.
- He is very friendly and patriotic in nature. ###
