The factional President of Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP), Com. Goodluck Diigbo has reawaken his followers that the Ogoni is heading towards success and they should not give up at this point adding that agitators pay price to win which include: starvation, death and long suffering which they have done.
Diigbo gave this declaration on the 22nd anniversary of the MOSOP struggle 2015 when the people gathered at Ogoni Peace and Freedom Centre, Bori, he explained that Ogoni will not take a second place in the struggle for freedom in Nigeria.
Diigbo aired his national day broadcast to the people through telephone from unknown destination.
The faction on the fateful day demonstrated to control the government of Ogoni through inauguration of several authorities including swearing in of chairman of customary Court, Governors of the six kingdoms of Ogoni which include: special areas of Bori and Ban-Ogoi, leaders of the Ogoni Legislative Assembly.
It was in that occasion that the Diigbo was made president of the faction as he was sworn in. Also sworn in was the leader of the traditional rulers and ministers in the churches throughout Ogoniland.
It was a happy celebration that people from far and near across the country represented their different ethnic nationalities especially OPC, middlebelt and Isoko came to grace the occasion. ###
