The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rivers State chapter, Chief Felix Obuah, has ap-pealed to Rivers people to reject All Progressives Congress(APC) at the polls come 2015.
Obuah said the party lacks what it takes to transform the country and stabilize the pol-ity.
He also congratulated President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on his emergence as the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party.
Obuah, who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Jerry Needam described Jonathan’s adoption by the party as deserving, saying it would also give him the opportunity to continue with his transformation programme
According to him, the gesture was also a reciprocation of his administration’s laudable initiatives which he said, had impacted Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion, social class, and political affiliation.
Obuah explained that the country required someone like, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to steer the ship of the nation now, because of his humility, diplomacy, intelligence, leadership prowess and patriotism.
He also said he was confident that the president would reciprocate the gesture, by improving on the living standards of Nigerians.
He assured President Jonathan that Rivers State would vote massively for him and other PDP candidates in the state in 2015.
Obuah was also confident that President Jonathan would defeat the former Head of State and the flag bearer of All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd).
