The National Assistant Secretary of the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI), Dnc. Damiete West has congratulated Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike on his electoral victory in the just concluded governorship primary of the Rivers State wing of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday, Dnc. West expressed optimism that with the emergence of Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will come out victorious in the next year’s general election in the state.
Dcn. West who is a stakeholder of PDP in the Asari-Toru Local Government Area, noted that with the emergence of the Grand Patron of GDI as the governorship flagbearer of the PDP in the State, the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC will be defected in the 2015 election.
The Asalga PDP chieftain further commended the delegates for their peaceful disposition during the primary.
The GDI Assistant National Secretary who was also a delegate from Asalga ward 8 called on all the party faithful to support the gubernatorial ambition of the Grand Patron of GDI so as to move the Rivers State forward. ###
