Due to his superlative performance with the Falcons, Coach Edwin Okon has been nominated by CAF to be crown as the best CAF women coach of 2014.
Edwin Okon is the coach of Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt and double as coach of Falcons of Nigeria, the senior female football team, Nigeria.
Since taking over the mantle of leadership in coaching the falcons, the falcons have made steady progress in all their encounters. They have just added another victory to history as the 2014 best female side in Africa as they lifted the women African Nation Cup 2014 under Coach Edwin Okon.
No other coach has the record coach Okon has in the African continent in women football. So, it will be a big surprise and great injustice if coach Okon is not adjudged the best Africa women coach for 2014.
