NIPR Honours Olu Fubara

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Rivers State Chapter on Thursday, 6th November 2014 at the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA)   Secretariat, Old GRA Port Harcourt held a Maiden Commendation Lecture in honour of Chief Olu Benibo Fubara, FNIPR in his 76th Birthday Anniversary. The event which started at exactly 1:00pm has so many dignitaries in attendance, such as Dr. Dawari I. George (MHR), Professor Nimi D. Briggs as well as others.

Alabo Olu Benibo Fubara was born to William and Laura Fubara Jack in Abonnema, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State of Nigeria in 1938. He was educated and has held so many positions in the state Civil Service and Companies before his retirement in 1998.

Olu Benibo Fubara is Chief and Head of Oruguta War Canoe House in the Iju (Jack) Group of Houses, Abonnema, Kalabari. He is married to Boma and both have four children, his hobbies include swimming, tennis and golf. ###
