Former Gabros Football Club player, Mr. E. Uchess is on the verge of making history in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State.
Mr. Uchess is building an academy that will stand the test of time universally.
According to the former Gabros Star, he is nurturing future Ronaldos and Messis as he establishes an Academy that will have a solid foundation of producing stars for the Super Eagles and international football clubs.
The soft spoken former player said, he intends to do that by setting up a formidable age grade competitions that will produce the right calibre of players for age grade football for Nigeria in an age grade football competition.
Already, the golden hearted Uchess has commenced his vision and dream as he kick off his first age grade football competition at No. 1 Field, Bende Street, Port Harcourt with U-13 and 16.
Mass Gulf defeated Prestige 5-0 at the opening match while in the u-16 category, Golden City draws 1-1 with Recovery House at the same day.
Speaking further, he revealed that it is his dream that he will give talented hidden soccer talents a leverage by creating a platform where they could excel to limelight.
Saying that his tournament will be sustained annually in a way that all outstanding players discovered will be sponsored to any level as to give such player’s career line in soccer.
“I have a dream and vision of producing stars for the Super Eagles, and age grade football in Nigeria. My Academy will feed the local league, national teams in each grade and as well foreign clubsides that in every nations and world cup my players will be part of the national teams.
He also maintained that he will equally encourage outstanding coaches through the competition, stressing that the well behaved ones will have the opportunity of his sponsorship and scholarship to become career coaches.
He also hinted The Newswriter sports that, he has prizes for the most valuable player; most disciplined and behaved team, highest goal soccer award, and best goal keeper of the competition. ###
